the
light
above
the
kitchen
sink
is
going
out.
you
can
flick
the
switch
on
and
hear
the
hum
but
no
blue-
green
neon.
well,
not
immediately
anyway.
one
can
forget
sometimes
that
they
turned
it
on.
time
passes
a
flicker
of
surprise
never
disappoints.
so
i
had
just
flicked
it
on
and
went
about
other
tasks
and
was
thinking
i
could use
some
more
light
and
it
came
on.
funny
how
that
happens.
