harvest moon
Sunday, October 10, 2010
take five
it
is
not
uncommon,
on
days
such
as
these
especially,
to
hear
a
child
practing
their
instruments
outside.
Having
taxed
their
families
with
squeeky
scales.
But
the
day
was
oddly
gorgeous
in
it's
unseasonably
warm
tempertures
and
leaves
twinkling
oranges,
reds,
yellows.
So,
to
hear
Take
Five
drifting
on
those
warm
drafts
made
my
heart
soar.

and it all came tumbling down
There
you are-
sitting
on
your
wall-
not
expecting
that
the
world
that
so
comfortably
caressed
you
would
suddenly
take
different
turns.
The
souls
around
you
that
have
nourished
you,
your
well
being,
your
love,
have
all
shifted.
And
you
are
left
with
the
terrifying
thought
of,
perhaps,
this
time,
it
can't
be
put
back
together
again.
